Youth in Action on Climate Change is a project which takes the associated targets of the Paris Agreement in its core.The Paris Agreement is a legally binding internationa treaty on climate change. Through this project we aim to: - enhance people's sensitivity and awareness towards the environmental issues through the art - take up the question of the arts’ role in advancing sustainability at international, national and local levels - promote the Sustainable Development Goals - help students think more creatively about divergent views on sustainability - use art as a pedagogical way to enrich the whole person, to encourage critical and creative thinking around sustainability - allow the students to experience a more creative, diverse, inclusive and positive change that they wish to bring to this world - be more aware of/ understand the causes and effects of environmental issues - be able to find practical solutions to some environmental issues affecting EU countries - disseminate information and raise awareness about the importance of eco-friendly lifestyles - develop digital competences as well as their knowledge and understanding of ICT tools - improve cross-curricular skills such as research, teamwork, critical thinking, creativity, problem solving
