1ST DAY IN POLAND

First day after arriving, we all went to the school where the students, teachers and the headteacher were waiting for our partners to welcome them.

They offered us a musical performance by one of the students at school. Then the Principal gave a speech showing the importance of this Erasmus plus projects and welcoming us.

Then we went to the Town Hall , where the Major of the city, Mr. Franskenstein offered us a warm welcome. Our students were answering some questions and they exchanged information about our countries and cultures.

After playing a "City games" in mixed-international teams, the students received from the Major the participation diplomas

In the afternoon we played Sports together and we opened a second hand clothes fair to work on the 4Rs: recycling reusing, giving a second chance to our used clothes. 🧥👗👕👖🩴. We finished the day dancing typical dances from our countries.🕺🏻

It was really an exciting day for all of the target groups in the project: students, teachers, local authorities and school community. We had the opportunity to share our project objectives and make them aware of the problem we have worldwide with Climate change effects.
