Thursday, 18th January.
Today we meet at school to work in mixed international teams.
The first activity in the morning was a lecture on Photovoltaic Solar Energy.
A specialist in this kind of energy visits us to tell us how important the use of this renewable energy is to fight Climate change and Global Warming.
He told us about different implementations in companies, homes, etc. The cost of installation and students asked him questions about this topic.
Then students compare the use of this energy in their countries.
Then students walked around the town in mixed international teams to interview citizens about some important issues such as the use of renewable energies, recycling, and SDGs and they made a presentation sharing it with the other teams their conclusions finally they prepared some suggestions for the local authorities to improve.
To finish the morning we had an important lecture on the effects of Climate change on agriculture.
A truffle farmer visited us with an activity to use STEM and STEAM.
He gave our students different situations about how to water holm trees in a place where there is no running water around. ( solving problems, using maths, engineering, and science ) They had to decide in teams how to do it and try to find solutions.
Then they could smell a truffle and see the process of this kind of production.
In the evening the Spanish team prepared the ceremony of certificates and the Farewell party . It was a great moment of joy and fun all together.
Families have played an important role in our stay in Spain, and they cooked typical food for us to try.
The ceremony was emotional, we all received our participation certificate and took a lot of pictures together with our partners.
After that, we danced, had dinner, and had fun together.
